It usually consists of multiple system diseases which arise as a result of both internal and external factors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The most frequent neuropathies are:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>acute a chronic inflammatory\u00a0<strong>demyelinating polyneuropathy<\/strong>,<\/li><li><strong>polyneuropathy connected to\u00a0<\/strong>rheumatoid<strong>\u00a0arthritis<\/strong>,<\/li><li><strong>diabetic neuropathy<\/strong>\u00a0(in patients suffering from diabetes and neurovascular system disease),<\/li><li><strong>alcoholic neuropathy,<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Lyme disease neuropathy\u00a0<\/strong>with painful manifestation in the musculoskeletal system,<\/li><li><strong>toxic polyneuropathy<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 as a result of e.g. benzene, carbon disulfide or lead intoxication,<\/li><li><strong>polyneuropathy as a result of ingesting\u00a0<\/strong>neurotoxic\u00a0<strong>medicaments<\/strong>.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>If a doctor suspects polyneuropathy, they perform a general medical examination, electromyography (EMG), laboratory tests and sometimes even biopsy of the nerve or muscle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The cause of neuropathy cannot be found in 20 \u2013 30% of cases even after testing at specialized clinical departments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Polyneuropathy treatment \u2013 rid yourself of the issue<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Treatment of pol<\/strong><strong>yneuropathy&nbsp;<\/strong>is based mainly on&nbsp;<strong>dealing with the disease that led to its development.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Diabetic polyneuropathy is treated by maintaining glucose levels within the normal range.&nbsp;<\/strong>Healthy diet is the main condition for keeping glucose levels under control and preventing further nerve damage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Analgesics, antidepressants and other medicaments&nbsp;<\/strong>are administered to<strong>&nbsp;suppress pain and other symptoms.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There is great&nbsp;<strong>emphasis put on prevention of formation of defects on the lower limbs<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Rehabilitation is put in place in order to prevent depletion of muscle mass and other tissues.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":5,"featured_media":12307,"template":"","meta":{"_eb_attr":"","_wp_rev_ctl_limit":""},"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.biomag.us\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/biomag_diagnoza\/28595"}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.biomag.us\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/biomag_diagnoza"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.biomag.us\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/biomag_diagnoza"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.biomag.us\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/5"}],"version-history":[{"count":4,"href":"https:\/\/www.biomag.us\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/biomag_diagnoza\/28595\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":32052,"href":"https:\/\/www.biomag.us\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/biomag_diagnoza\/28595\/revisions\/32052"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.biomag.us\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/12307"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.biomag.us\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=28595"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
