Do you suffer from joint pain and are your joints swollen? Are you tired and exhausted? Do you experience mild fevers? You may suffer from progressive polyarthritis. The disease leads to severe deformities of joints and to common work disability that may become permanent.
Characteristics of Rheumatism, Progressive Polyarthritis, Rheumatoid Arthritis and its Causes
Rheumatoid arthritis is one of the most common rheumatoid diseases (rheumatics).
It is a chronic autoimmune system disease. The immunity system attacks and destroys its own tissues. It affects mostly joints but sometimes other organs as well.
It is symptomized by swelling, local hotness to the touch, sensitivity to touch, pain and decreased functionality. The inflammation eventually leads to destruction of the joint.
The disease is also called progressive polyarthritis. This name aptly describes its chronic gradually exacerbating progression. Polyarthritis means that there are several inflamed joints at once. The disease appears symmetrically, on both joints of both halves of the body. Deformities of joints, which limit or completely stop functionality of the joint, appear.
Up to 50% of patients become unable to work during the first 10 years of the progression of the disease. Limited mobility may progress to permanent invalidity.
Women are affected three times more than men. First symptoms appear most frequently between the ages of 35 and 50.
Progressive polyarthritis has characteristic general symptoms. The development of the disease is often gradual and is symptomized by pain, tiredness and general weakness. There is morning stiffness of the affected joints. In about 10% of the patients, the disease starts with acute polyarthtitis, when the symptoms start within a few days.
The specific cause of articular rheumatics is not clear, however, the main damaging mechanism is non-infectious chronic intra-articular inflammation.
Progressive polyarthritis and Rheumatoid Arthritis Treatment – Rid yourself of the Pain
The goal of treatment of progressive polyarthritis is to relieve pain and to supress inflammation.
The modern approach to treatment strives to also prevent destruction of the joint, deformities and to keep the joint functional.
Treatment of arthritis is usually permanent, often by combining more disease modifying anti-rheumatic drugs (DMARDs), glucocorticoids and non-steroid anti-rheumatics.
Adjustments to regimen and long-term rehabilitation are required. It is suitable to apply 3D pulse therapy.
3D Biomag pulse therapy helps treat symptoms progressive polyarthritis.
Explanation of chosen terms:
- Glucocorticoids – steroid hormones produced by adrenal cortex (zona fasciculata).
- Non-steroid antirheumatics – non-steroid medicament with analgesic, antipyretic and anti-inflammatory effect.
Patented 3D Biomag pulsed therapy. How does it work?
The basic principle of 3D Biomag magnetotherapy is generating electromagnetic pulses. The generated pulses penetrate through layers of clothing and even body tissues to the place of application. These pulses have specially developed biotropic parameters (e.g. frequency, profile, intensity), thanks to which the pulsed magnetotherapy affects various health conditions.
The term pulse magnetotherapy is most commonly used for physiotherapy using the principle of electromagnetic pulses. The abbreviation PEMF is used in order to be concise.
Patented 3D Biomag technology ensures more precise and uninterrupted pulse profiles, enhances output, and allows pulses to come from various angles. This makes it a completely new and unique medical technology on the market.
What are the benefits of therapy of progressive polyarthritis?
- Helps soothe pain.
- Has anti-inflammatory and anti-oedematous effect.
- Improves mobility and decelerates further damage to the joints.
- Thanks to being easy to use, it can be applied at home.
- It’s a solution with no additional medicaments.
- It’s a non-invasive treatment.

The effects of pulsed therapy - clinical studies
Effect of pulse therapy (PEMF) on treating arthritis pain is supported by many studies, like the one by the team of R. Selvam in 2007, whose results were published in the scientific journal Life Sciences, which shows that pulsed therapy (PEMF) can repair the damage arthritis causes in the body. It follows from the abovementioned that 3D Biomag pulse therapy can help with treatment of rheumatoid athritis due to its analgesic effect. More about this scientific study.
Positive effects of pulse magnetic field (PEMF) are evidenced by clinical studies by authorities on the subject and renowned institutions. The newest list of these clinical studies can be found on this page. Contact us and we will gladly help to familiarize yourself with this expert data.
Our department uses pulse magnetic field application very well. We appreciate that not only is there an option to used numbered programmes, but also to set up our own programmes. The device is small and easy to operate with good output.
University hospital Na Bulovce, Prague – Physiotherapy department
We have been utilising pulse magnetic field treatment in our spa for more than 10 years. We use Biomag devices for both physiotherapy and spa treatment. It is very advantageous to combine magnetotherapy with other physiotherapy methods because the effect of magnetotherapy potentiates with other methods (analgesic, anti-oedematous, recovery and myorelaxing).
Bělohrad Peat Spa – Lázně Bělohrad
We are happy with the device. The applicators are also easy to operate, and treatment results are satisfying. Feedback from patients is positive. Average number of applications is 50 per week.

I suffered from shoulder joint inflammation in winter 2002 and I couldn't move my arm. I borrowed the Biomag device from my sister and used it twice a day in basic mode. I was totally fine after 3 weeks.Broňa Poláková, Nemyčeves
My wife used to have difficulties with her right hip and left shoulder. The pain has disappeared or has retreated considerably.Jan Klouda, Červený Kříž
I and my husband use the Biomag device. My husband uses the device for extremity ischemia lower limbs and after heart surgery. I use the device for joint problems: osteoporosis, arthrosis and rheumatic arthritis.Emília Dzuráková, Bošáca
